Our Story

Ashwoods Home Décor was established in December 1997 by sisters Barb and Connie and Barb's daughter Heather, to fill a niche for country decor seen in many country style magazines.

The original store was based in Crowfoot Crossing in NW Calgary. After eight busy years there Ashwoods relocated to the building of their dreams in Cochrane, a mere 15 minute drive west of Calgary; a mountain view all the way to the store and back.

Connie has now retired and only works when she's not at the cabin, on a road trip, or busy sewing which is most of the time.

Ashwoods Home Décor keenly follows the changes in new country style, design and decor and because of that focus, is able to furnish more.
